Octant Santiago and Terras da Comporta invite you to join this exclusive tournament played in one of Portugal’s most exciting new golf courses, DUNAS at Terras da Comporta, designed by David McLay-Kidd.

60 players will compete in an individual stableford format for 2 rounds of 18 holes before qualifying the knockout match-play stages.
Every player is guaranteed a minimum of 3 rounds at the DUNAS course Terras da Comporta.

• 4 Nights accommodation at Octant Hotels Santiago

Price per person in twin/double room: £925pp
Price per person in single room: £1079pp

Car rental is recommended for this tournament, although we can also add airport and golf shuttles if preferred.

  First Round: Qualifying Stage = 18-Holes played in Stableford net

• DAY 3 – 28th October 2024 – Qualifying Day & Quarter-Finals
  Second Round: Qualifying Stage = 18-Holes played in Stableford net
  8 Best accumulated net scores (36-holes) will qualify for the CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT
  Remaining players will move to the CONSOLATION TOURNAMENT
  Light Lunch at Dunas Clubhouse
  Quarter Finals CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT– Afternoon Tee Times (4 Matches played in Match-Play Format): 9-Holes

  Semi Finals CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT – Morning Tee Times (2 Matches played in Match-Play Format): 18-Holes
  CONSOLATION TOURNAMENT – Morning Tee Times – 18-Holes played in Stableford net
  Light Lunch at Dunas Clubhouse
  Final & 3rd / 4th Place CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT – Afternoon Tee Times (2 Matches played in Match-Play Format): 18-Holes

After the very successful 1st edition, we are delighted to announce the 2nd edition of the Sotavento Golf Trophy.

The tournament’s format will be Stableford and will feature 3 of the best Golf Courses in the East Algarve along with a welcome cocktail dînatoire and a prize giving dinner.
3 of the best golf courses in the Eastern Algarve – Monte Rei, Quinta da Ria & Quinta do Vale – have come together to provide a unique tournament just before the start of the Christmas celebrations. As the 2024 golf season comes to an end we wish to thank you golfers for their support with a strong prize draw table including gift vouchers at Monte Rei lodging and at Octant Praia Verde hotel.
