In peaceful scenic surrounding at the foothills of Barrocal, Benamor Golf is a superb 18-hole Golf Course designed by Sir Henry Cotton located just a few kilometres east of the ancient city of Tavira in the eastern Algarve and boasting some of the most stunning mountain and sea views the Algarve has to offer.
This fantastic 5500 metres, par 71, course offers a challenge to players of all standards. The course is undulating, but not overly hilly with
water hazards and strategically placed bunkers with ancient indigenous olive, cork, carob, fig and almond trees contributing both aesthetic value and affecting play. The greens of Penn A4 are superb, and fairways of Bermuda Sahara provide good lies for most well-placed shots.
Club facilities include a driving range, putting green and putting course. The Benamor Golf Restaurant, located in the clubhouse, has a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere with a pleasant terrace.
Benamor golf will always inspire a return visit, as a good score is visibly achievable but may be elusive!
