Overview
Our fun and friendly – yet competitive – Open Golf Tournaments at a range of excellent golf resorts are a perfect way to round off your golf season or to warm up for the following season in great playing conditions.

If the tournament you want to join isn’t listed at the moment, do check back to this page on a regular basis as new tournaments come on-stream very frequently, but then they can sell out very quickly too!
Each tournament offers the services of a tournament coordinator either at the main host golf course or tournament hotel, and they will work with you regarding tee times, handicaps, playing groups etc whilst you are on the holiday.
To extend your stay, why not add some extra nights and rounds of golf or “bolt together” a couple of events back-to-back? The late November/early December tournaments are particularly suited to doing this…

After the very successful 1st edition, we are delighted to announce the 2nd edition of the Sotavento Golf Trophy.
The tournament’s format will be Stableford and will feature 3 of the best Golf Courses in the East Algarve along with a welcome cocktail dînatoire and a prize giving dinner.
3 of the best golf courses in the Eastern Algarve – Monte Rei, Quinta da Ria & Quinta do Vale – have come together to provide a unique tournament just before the start of the Christmas celebrations. As the 2024 golf season comes to an end we wish to thank you golfers for their support with a strong prize draw table including gift vouchers at Monte Rei lodging and at Octant Praia Verde hotel. Benefit from complimentary buggies on all 3 competition days.
