Overview

Club de Golf Son Servera is one of Mallorca’s most charming and historically significant courses, located on the island’s north-east coast between the resorts of Costa de los Pinos and Cala Millor. Opened in 1967, it is the second oldest golf club on Mallorca, originally a 9-hole course designed by John Harris and Francisco López Segalés, later expanded to a full 18-hole layout in 2012 under the direction of Kurt Rossknecht.

The result is a course that feels both classic and contemporary — a design that perfectly captures the island’s natural beauty. Set at the foot of the Llevant mountain range, Son Servera combines forested fairways with more open coastal sections, offering variety, views and an engaging rhythm of play. The first nine holes wind through pine woods, demanding accuracy and thoughtful shot-shaping, while the back nine open up to wider fairways and panoramic vistas over the Bay of Cala Millor and the surrounding countryside.

The course isn’t excessively long or intimidating, but its natural slopes, strategic bunkering and subtly contoured greens ensure every level of golfer finds both enjoyment and challenge. One of its most famous features is the stretch of holes between the 3rd and 7th — often called the “Pine Trap” — where narrow corridors framed by dense trees require precision over power.

Son Servera has always been known for its welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. It’s a member-owned club with an international membership base and a reputation for friendliness, making it as much a social hub as a sporting one. The clubhouse is bright, relaxed and stylish, with a terrace overlooking the 18th green and views of the coastline — ideal for a drink or meal after your round.

Combining heritage, scenery and playability, Club de Golf Son Servera is a must-play for golfers seeking a scenic, well-maintained and authentic Mallorcan experience — enjoyable, natural and full of character.
