The temperature and salinity levels of the 4 outdoor pools is evaluated every day. The main one is 70m long, 25m wide and 2m deep, while the the children’s pool is 15m in diameter and is 40cm deep. To ensure the maximum comfort for the children, the latter pool is progressively heated throughout the day, from May to September (depending on weather conditions) and is perfect for some fun within a safe environment. The Chill-Out pool — which is also progressively heated within the same period — is a great spot to enjoy until the end of the day. In total, there are 1800m2 of swimming pools, watched closely by lifeguards.
Just outside of the VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, 200m away is Salgados Beach. With 7 kilometres of golden sand, it’s one of the most beautiful areas of the Algarve, where you can also enjoy various water sports or a full day of relaxation.
