Overview

Real Golf de Bendinat is a prestigious 18-hole golf course located in the exclusive Bendinat area of Calvià, just a short drive west of Palma. Nestled in a natural valley surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills, the course combines mountain and coastal scenery, with spectacular views over the Bay of Palma and the medieval Bendinat Castle in the background.

Designed by the renowned architect Martin Hawtree, the course opened in 1986 as a 9-hole layout and expanded to 18 holes in 1995. It is known for its challenging terrain, featuring dramatic elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, and tight doglegs that demand accuracy and course management rather than brute power. Each hole has its own character — with undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers and occasional blind shots that reward precise play.

The front nine winds gently through valleys and wooded slopes, offering fair yet demanding holes, while the back nine climbs higher into the hills, presenting elevated tees with panoramic views towards the sea and Palma Bay. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, framed by pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation, with occasional glimpses of Bendinat Castle peeking through the treetops.

The clubhouse reflects classic Mallorcan style with warm stone architecture, terraces overlooking the course, and a relaxed restaurant perfect for post-round dining. Service is refined, yet friendly, in keeping with Bendinat’s reputation as one of Mallorca’s most elegant clubs. Despite its luxurious setting, the club retains a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
