Overview

Pula Golf Resort is one of Mallorca’s most prestigious golf destinations — a championship-level course paired with a boutique rural resort in the island’s north-east, near Son Servera. Set in a peaceful valley surrounded by rolling hills and open countryside, it blends high-level golf with authentic Mallorcan charm, creating an experience that appeals equally to serious players and relaxed holiday guests.

Originally opened in 1995, the course was completely redesigned between 2004 and 2006 by José María Olazábal to meet European Tour standards. The transformation turned it into a challenging par-72 layout of just over 6,200 metres, characterised by long, wide fairways, demanding approach shots and fast, undulating greens. Around 14 holes now provide direct visibility of both the green and the flag from the tee, offering a fair but exacting test that rewards strategy over brute power.

The setting is tranquil yet impressive: views stretch across the valley toward the Llevant mountains, framed by olive groves, stone walls and typical Mallorcan countryside. A small stream winds through parts of the course, and several lakes come into play, most notably on the 2nd, 9th and 18th holes. The signature finishing hole, a risk-reward par 5, plays dramatically towards the clubhouse and resort, providing a perfect stage for competitive and professional events alike.

Pula has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including multiple editions of the Mallorca Classic on the PGA European Tour, welcoming legends such as Olazábal, García, and Jiménez. Despite its tournament pedigree, the course remains accessible and enjoyable for club golfers, thanks to several tee options and immaculate maintenance standards year-round.

Attached to the course is a charming 16th-century manor house converted into a small boutique resort. The hotel offers elegant rooms, a gourmet restaurant with views of the course, a wellness area and outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy direct access to the course, practice facilities and the relaxed ambience of rural Mallorca.

Pula Golf Resort strikes an ideal balance — championship-quality golf paired with authenticity, peace and character — making it one of the island’s most complete golf experiences.
