Overview

Golf Son Quint is one of Mallorca’s most modern and inviting courses, located within the prestigious Son Vida estate just outside Palma. Opened in 2007, it is the youngest of the three Arabella Golf Mallorca courses, alongside Son Muntaner and Son Vida. Designed by Ramón Espinosa and Kurt Rossknecht, Son Quint was created with the philosophy of providing a fun, scenic and accessible golfing experience — one that blends style, comfort and quality without excessive difficulty.

Set across gently rolling terrain with spectacular views of Palma and the distant Mediterranean, the 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches over 6,200 metres and offers a balanced combination of challenge and enjoyment. The design encourages confident play: wide fairways allow for a degree of forgiveness off the tee, while well-positioned bunkers and water hazards ensure there’s still plenty of strategy required. The greens are large, consistent and designed to reward attacking play.

Son Quint’s front nine plays through open countryside with generous landing areas, while the back nine becomes more technical, weaving through pine and olive groves with slightly tighter approaches. The standout holes include the elevated par-3 8th, offering panoramic views over Palma Bay, and the par-5 17th, which curves dramatically towards a water-protected green.

The atmosphere at Son Quint is relaxed and contemporary. The course appeals equally to visiting golfers, resort guests and locals, thanks to its playability, excellent maintenance and modern facilities. The practice areas are superb, with a driving range, short-game zones and putting greens shared with the nearby Son Muntaner complex.

The clubhouse mirrors the course’s modern spirit — elegant but informal, with a bright terrace overlooking the 18th hole. On-site amenities include a restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms and access to premium hotel services through the Arabella group.

Golf Son Quint captures the essence of modern resort golf: open, scenic and sociable — a perfect complement to the more challenging Son Muntaner and the historic Son Vida.
