Overview
Golf du Soleil is one of Agadir’s premier golfing destinations, offering a beautifully maintained 36-hole championship complex surrounded by palm trees, lakes and natural dune landscapes. Designed by the internationally renowned architect Fernando Muella, the course delivers variety, scenery and superb playability, making it a favourite for both professionals and leisure golfers visiting Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
The complex is divided into two distinct layouts: the Championship Course (18 holes) and the Tikida Course (18 holes). Each offers a unique challenge and style of play, giving golfers the option to experience two contrasting but complementary courses within one location.
The Championship Course (Blue & Yellow loops) features long, sweeping fairways, strategically positioned bunkers, generous landing areas and large, responsive greens. Water hazards come into play on several holes, adding both visual appeal and tactical decision-making. This layout is known for its balance — challenging enough for experienced players, yet forgiving enough for higher handicaps.
The Tikida Course (Red & White loops) offers a more intimate, technical layout. Narrower fairways, tighter approach shots and subtle elevation changes encourage accuracy and smart game management. Its peaceful atmosphere, tree-lined corridors and varied shot-making demands make it a popular choice for golfers who enjoy a more strategic challenge.
Natural scenery enhances the experience throughout. Lakes, palm groves, eucalyptus trees and desert-style dunes create a tranquil environment around the fairways. The conditioning is excellent year-round, with smooth greens, well-maintained bunkers and manicured fairways reflecting the club’s strong reputation.
The clubhouse is elegant and welcoming, offering panoramic views of the course, refined dining options, a comfortable bar and relaxing terraces. Whether enjoying a post-round drink or spending time in the lounge, the atmosphere feels premium yet relaxed.
Training facilities are exceptional, featuring one of Agadir’s best driving ranges, several putting greens and short-game areas — ideal for both warm-ups and improvements. Golf du Soleil is also known for hosting professional events, including European Challenge Tour tournaments, which speaks to the quality and prestige of the club.
With world-class design, stunning natural surroundings and two distinct 18-hole courses, Golf du Soleil stands out as one of Agadir’s top golf experiences — perfect for all handicaps and for golfers wanting variety during their stay.
