These courses require a buggy for all but the fittest (or foolhardy) golfers, the specific challenge being to negotiate the elevation changes as effectively as possible and then to putt well on the excellent quality greens to, hopefully, result in a good score!
Be warned though!, due to their slightly inland location, on warm days when the hot wind from Morocco is blowing, the golf courses here can be significantly warmer than those down on the coast, with temperatures of 40+ degrees and, from our experiences, no wind to offer a light relief. Take plenty of water!
Originally designed by Ron Kirby in 2008 and recently renovated under David Williams’ Master Plan, the 18-hole, par 70, New Course is integrated into a landscape of ravines and volcanic contrasts, offering an experience that transcends the conventional game, demanding precision and adaptability with every shot.
