Be aware however that the beach is a rocky one with few sandy areas, so not ideal for children. Please note that long trousers are compulsory for gentlemen in the restaurants in the evenings; shorts are not permitted and trousers on sale in the pro-shop are expensive!
A main feature of the resort is the scenic ‘Tecina Golf La Gomera‘ course which winds its way back and forth down the hillside from high above the resort and offers fantastic views not only of La Gomera and the Atlantic, but also across the water to Teide – the giant dormant volcano that dominates the landscape of Tenerife.
Facilities also include an adult only, outdoor spa and wellness area, tennis, padel, squash and beach volleyball courts and a fitness centre.
The Golf Travel people can arrange packages including the 50-minute ferry crossing from Los Christianos Port in Tenerife to San Sebastian de la Gomera plus the spectacular 25 mins transfer to the hotel, if required.
