Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is one of the most established and respected golf clubs on the Costa del Sol in Marbella.
The club offers two 18 holes golf courses North and South, a 9-hole pitch and putt course, a covered driving range for 40 players and a chipping and putting green, a facility comparable to only a few other destinations on the Costa del Sol.
Known by many as the easier course at the Guadalmina Golf Resort, however, don’t underestimate Real Club de Golf Guadalmina – North Course!
The design of the North course was influenced by the land that flanks its fairways and the “Arroyo del Chopo” stream which runs through the land and affects some of the holes. It is a generally flat, walkable parkland course with wider fairways than those of its brother “El Sur”. The undulating terrain may look challenging from the 1st and straight drives are required down the fairways to avoid the hidden lakes, streams, fountains and the River Guadalmina, however, it is a course where players have the chance to recover from a bad tee shot, as most of its holes are not very long. In fact, the par four’s range between 300 and 350 metres, and the approach shots to the greens are not too protected by bunkers, so is possible a rolled shot may end up near the flag.
The North course is great for those who want to play a quick 9 holes with both the first tees and final holes of each nine-hole loop being next to the clubhouse and is the ideal complement to the South course for an enjoyable test of golf during your golf holiday on the Costa del Sol.
A cafeteria and restaurant are also available on the ground floor of the club house, where visitors are warmly welcomed to enjoy a selection of dishes and light snacks.
