The magnificent, 18-hole par 72, course at the Marbella Club Golf Resort lies in the Andalusian hills near Benahavís, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and across the Mediterranean Sea to Gibraltar and the African Coastline.
Surrounded by a woodland of a eucalyptus, cork and pine trees, this highly regarded 6,247m course, designed by Dave Thomas, features carefully contoured fairways, beautiful waterfalls, lakes, strategically placed bunkers, elevated tees and well protected, undulating, greens, maintained to perfection.
The front nine provides the unique experience of three consecutive par 5s, which not only represent a severe test early in the round but also offer some of the most picturesque scenery on the golf course. The tee on the seventh is the highest point on the course and provides the most spectacular views.
Limited play and a minimum of twelve minutes between tee off times, prevents any over-crowding and creates a more tranquil round.
The Club House is a thatched cottage overlooking the lake of the 1st hole, offering the perfect surroundings to relax and unwind after a round.
On cooler days, the open log fire with rustic style furniture, provide the atmosphere of a hunting lodge in keeping with the early aristocratic traditions of the Marbella Club. The restaurant is renowned for its high level of service and excellent food, supervised by a Michelin Starred Executive Chef.
