Santa Clara is a beautifully designed 18-hole golf course, with wonderful mountain and coastal views, in the heart of Marbella, just 30 minutes from Malaga airport.
This 5.922m, par 71, parkland course designed by Enrique Canales Busquets is set on a gentle slope with few inclines, making it a walkable course, suitable for all levels of player. Its open layout and forgiving fairways make Santa Clara less intimidating than some of the Costa del Sol’s more demanding courses. However, the three-hole stretch known as the ‘Santa Clara Corner’, beginning at the 12th, provides a real test for every golfer, with strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and challenging winds to contend with.
Overall, Santa Clara is a good option for mixed-handicap golf groups, who want a relaxing round, in a central location with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains, Gibraltar, and even Morocco.
