Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club is a well established 54 hole golf centre located close to Chiclana de Frontera on the Costa de la Luz. The complex covers over 400 hectares of typical Andalusian golfing land with coastal views and umbrella pine forests.
The original design of the course was by Seve Ballesteros in 1990, with additional holes added in 2001 & 2007. The 3 courses are named Mar-Pinos (course A), Centro (course B) and Campano (course C) and offer challenging golf over long-ish courses with many water features and great bunkering including an S-shaped bunker after Seve! The green at hole 6 on Mar Pinos is the most spectacular with extensive sea and beach views.
The International PGA Golf Academy at Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club is a world renowned facility. With 10 full-time professionals and extensive practice facilities (driving range with 70 bays, 4 putting and pitching greens and 3 par-3 practice holes) the academy is an ideal venue for students of the game. Clubhouse and other facilities at Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club are also excellent. 4 paddle courts and 7 tennis courts complete the list. The clubhouse is a modern low level building with a great terrace overlooking 2 greens, plus an a-la-carte restaurant and cafe-bar. The Bar El Chozo overlooks the 10th tee of Course A as well as the driving range and other practice facilities.
