Carya Golf is the first classic, heathland style golf course to be built on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. With a design led by, five times Open Champion, Peter Thomson, Carya is always rated amongst the top courses in the region.
This fantastic, 18-hole Championship, course lies on undulating sand hills, cutting through mature pine and eucalyptus forest with naturally cultivated heather, which shapes and defines the course into a truly magnificent spectacle.
The 7,186-yard, par 72 course is a demanding test of golfing strategy with free-flowing holes that run between pine and eucalyptus trees and across a dramatic sand ridge, with lots of bunkers, fast greens and water hazards in the form of three large lakes and streams.
Designer Peter Thomson described the course as reminiscent of the top Surrey heathland courses, however what doesn’t feature in Surrey, along with the wonderful weather conditions! is the unique, totally floodlit feature of Carya, allowing night-time golf to be enjoyed during the heat of the summer and extending daylight playing hours in the cooler winter months.
To complement this superb course, Carya Golf Course also boasts a modern and stylish clubhouse offering a welcoming atmosphere, with its lounge areas for both before and after the game along with a state-of-the-art driving range.
For a stay and play options, the 5-star Regnum Carya Hotel is just a stroll from the first tee, offering a luxurious stay to accompany golfing excellence.
