The first thing that strikes most guests arriving at the Grand Teguise Playa Hotel in the Costa Teguise area of Lanzarote is the striking design of the hotel building. Entering on the first floor the public areas here and on the ground floor below have an incredible openness to them as the atrium soars up to the bedrooms high above!
Starting down on the ground floor, the hotel offers a large garden-like main bar and lounge area with a slightly disconcerting rotating platform that moves slowly around the sunken bar so on your first visit here it can take a moment for you to realise what is happening! The main buffet restaurant and terrace is also located in this area, plus the front of the hotel opens up to the main swimming pool, sun-decks, outside bars and restaurants and the beach and tennis courts beyond.
High up above the bedrooms are mostly sea-view rooms with balcony or terrace, and are well-equipped and furnished in a modern style with space to relax and unwind in privacy.
One of the main attractions of this excellent hotel is the fact that it offers All Inclusive as one of its most popular board tariffs and this is an excellent choice of upgrade due to the high standard and service of food and drinks available.
However, if you prefer to eat and drink away from your hotel, the many bars and restaurants of the Costa Teguise area are only a few steps from the front door of the hotel with a wide selection of eateries and shops available only moments away.
There is no doubt that this is one of our favourite hotels in Lanzarote and with the fairways of Costa Teguise Golf Club only a few minutes drive away from the hotel, the Grand Teguise Playa Hotel is a perfect choice for a golf break on the island.
