Why we send golfers to The San Roque Club.

Enjoy San Roque Golf Club – Old Course as part of our exclusive “Spain’s Finest” golf package with low rates and buggies included. more details…

Formerly the home of the Domecq sherry family, The San Roque Club sits within 340 acres of peaceful and natural Andalusian landscape dominated by ancient Cork Oaks. The centrepiece of the club is the magnificent Domecq mansion which oozes character.

San Roque first opened its doors in 1991 and quickly became the golf resort of choice in Sotogrande, designed by Dave Thomas, the course, along with Real Club de Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande became known as the ‘golden triangle’ of Spanish golf.

The amazing 18-hole Championship course at San Roque Club is steeped in history, hosting 15 consecutive European Tour Schools from 1993-2007 and the Spanish Open in 2005 with some of the greats of the game igniting their careers here.

This legendary member’s club does welcome visitors during daily periods of limited tees times and can be combined in our ‘Spain’s Finest’ package in which a multi round rate, with buggies included, represents great value for four of the very best golf courses in Spain.

With a multi-million-euro renovation of all the club facilities now completed, The San Roque Club once again can be considered one of the best golf courses in Europe.

Situated in the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, the par 72, course is a classic parkland course weaving through cork oak woods that border tight fairways with undulating terrain, deep bunkers, and well contoured, fast elevated greens.

This is a course that demands thoughtful strategy and is a true test of golf for players of all levels.

Club facilities include a two-tiered covered driving range, multiple putting greens a pitching area and three practice bunkers. The club house restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a menu of international cuisine and regional dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients which can be enjoyed at the bar, in the restaurant or on the terrace.
