What is the best time to play golf in Costa del Sol?
Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer ideal conditions with warm temperatures and minimal rainfall. Summer can be hot but courses open early for cooler rounds. Winter is mild and perfect for escaping UK weather.
How many courses are there in Costa del Sol?
Over 70 courses within an hour of Málaga airport, ranging from championship venues like Valderrama to resort courses and great-value options. The variety means every handicap is catered for.
Do I need a handicap certificate?
Most courses require proof of handicap, typically 28 for men and 36 for ladies. Some resort courses are more relaxed. We advise on specific requirements when booking.
Can you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, we arrange private transfers from Málaga airport to all Costa del Sol resorts. Journey times range from 30 minutes to Marbella up to 90 minutes to Sotogrande.
