Overview

Palm Golf Ourika is one of Marrakech’s most modern and visually impressive championship golf courses, located on the southern edge of the city in a peaceful, open landscape with sweeping views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Designed by Neil Haworth and Stéphane Talbot, the course opened in 2015 and has quickly become known for its immaculate conditioning, generous playing corridors and bold desert-style aesthetic.

Set across a beautifully sculpted 72-hectare estate, Palm Golf Ourika is built in true desert-golf fashion: wide fairways flowing through natural sand waste areas, strategically positioned bunkers, large greens with subtle contours and a layout that encourages creative decision-making. At over 6,700 metres from the championship tees, the par-72 course offers a strong test for low-handicap players, while multiple tee placements make it accessible and enjoyable for mid-to-high handicaps.

Palm Golf Ourika is celebrated for its greens and approach-shot strategy. The putting surfaces are large, smooth and thoughtfully shaped, with run-off areas that reward precision and punish inaccurate approaches. Many greens are slightly elevated, encouraging players to think carefully about their landing zones and spin control. Water comes into play on several holes, adding both challenge and visual appeal.
