Overview

Golf Maioris is a modern 18-hole golf course located near the coastal village of Llucmajor, in the south of Mallorca — just 15 minutes from Palma and close to the island’s main resort areas. Opened in 2006, it was designed by the Spanish architect Romeo Sala and has quickly established itself as one of the most enjoyable and accessible courses on the island, combining wide fairways, modern design elements and a relaxed, professional atmosphere.

Set across gently rolling terrain dotted with pine trees, olive groves and natural stone walls, the course offers an attractive mix of open and tree-lined holes. The front nine plays through more wooded areas with tight doglegs and strategically positioned bunkers, demanding accuracy from the tee, while the back nine opens out into broader, more forgiving fairways that invite longer drives and confident approach shots.

The par-72 layout stretches just over 6,300 metres and features a balanced rhythm, with variety in both hole length and strategy. Four large lakes and several water hazards come into play, especially on holes 2, 8, 16 and 17, adding visual drama and a tactical element to the round. The greens are large, true and consistently maintained, rewarding both attacking and conservative play styles.

Golf Maioris is designed to be playable for all levels of golfer — forgiving enough for holiday rounds yet technical enough to challenge lower handicaps. It’s particularly known for its friendly atmosphere, efficient service and excellent pace of play. Practice facilities include a full driving range, putting and chipping greens, and a short-game area.
