“Gran Canaria is the perfect destination to combine your enjoyment of a golf holiday with a relaxing break in the sun – particularly through the winter months!
The climate on the island is always favourable for golf – never too cold and only occasionally too hot to play thanks to the cooling sea breezes that waft over the island through the high summer season.
The main cluster of golf courses and our hand-selected golf hotels is in the SE corner of the island around the Maspalomas and Meloneras resort areas, but golf courses are available from Las Palmas in the north right down the eastern side of the island and round the southern tip to Anfi Tauro in the south-west sector. But as the island is fairly compact, the driving time between the capital and Anfi Tauro is less than an hour thanks to the highway that hugs the coast for most of the journey.
