Standard British handicap limits apply for most courses (28 for men and 36 for ladies), although many courses do allow golfers using other European handicap limits to play. If you don’t have an official handicap, don’t worry – if challenged the procedure may be to demonstrate your golfing proficiency on the range prior to your round but we are yet to hear of any of our clients who have had the misfortune to have to go through this!
If you have a handicap certificate from your club or society it is worth taking it with you on your trip, but they are very rarely requested – if ever.
